All things bright and beautiful

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

1. Each little flow’r that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings.

2. The purple-headed mountains,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning
That brightens up the sky.

3. The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.

4. The tall trees in the greenwood
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water,
To gather every day.

5. He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

Our Pledge

India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give respect to my parents, teachers and elders and treat everyone with courtesy.
To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion. In their wellbeing and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.

MORNING PRAYER:

God of creation, source of wisdom, we thank you for this beautiful day, keep us alert in all what we do, sharpen our memories and enlighten our minds. As we live and learn together, help us to be kind and gentle in our conduct, so that with others we may build a better tomorrow.

PRAYER AFTER CLASS::

Oh God, we thank you for bringing us safely to the close of this day. Bless our teachers, friends and all those whom we met today. Help us to remember the good things we have learnt.
Be with us as we get back home.
